The Department of Informatics of the Ionian University organizes a series of educational activities (workshop, seminar, summer school & educational tour), as well as dissemination activities of the results of the project "Park of Literary Travels in Greece and Magna Graecia - POLYSEMI", which is co-funded by European Union, European Regional Development Funds (E.R.D.F.) and by National Funds of Greece and Italy.
The series of events will be hosted by the Humanistic & Social Informatics Laboratory and will take place between 02/10/2019 – 04/10/2019 in the "Aretaios" & "Galinos" buildings at the Department of Informatics of the Ionian University, Tsirigoti Square, 7, Corfu.
The educational seminars are addressed to both academics (teachers and educators, scientists and students) and to the general public (businessmen, chambers, local and regional authorities, stakeholders, et al.), while the summer school and the targeted educational tour is aimed towards secondary school teachers and students.
The main objective of the events is to bring educators and scholars closer to the general public and to highlight the opportunities provided by the innovative approaches of the POLYSEMI project towards highlighting the rich literary and cultural resources of the Ionian Islands and Magna Grecia.
