The Faculty of Humanities was founded in May 2013 as the Faculty of History & Translation - Interpreting, according to the gazette 119/28.5.2013, issue Α. Headquarters location: Corfu.

The program of studies of the Department of History (1985) is centred on history, that is on historical research and methodology for the analysis and interpretation of historical developments from antiquity to the present time.
