Kefalonia: Special information day event for the promotion and dissemination of results in the framework of the project entitled "Intelligent selection and management of wine varieties using Information and Communication Technologies"

The Department of Informatics of the Ionian University organizes the 4rd Info Day event on information and promotion of innovative technologies with respect to the topic of "smart" agriculture, as well as dissemination of the results achieved within "EYOINOS - Intelligent selection and management of wine varieties using IT technologies" project (funded by the Regional Operational Program of Ionian Islands, 2014- 2020, Action: "Research on agrifood", MIS code: 5007310).

The event will take place on 23/10/2019 at the G. Arsenis amphitheater located in the B building of the Department of Food Sience and Technology of the Ionian University, Vergoti Ave. Argostoli, PC 28100, Kefalonia and is supported by the Humanistic & Social Informatics Laboratory under the direction of Associate Professor Ph. Mylonas.

The Info Day is addressed to both academics (teachers and educators, scientists, students and students) and to the general public (farmers, entrepreneurs, chambers, local and regional authorities, etc.). The main objective of the event is to bring the agri-nutrition experts and scientists closer to the general public and to highlight the potential offered by innovative technology applications in everyday rural life.
