Cooperation between DFLTI and the Directorate-General for Translation of the European Commission

We are pleased to announce the launch of the cooperation between the Department of Foreign Languages, Translation and Interpretating of the Ionian University (DFLTI) and the Directorate-General for Translation of the European Commission.

The start was made with the student of the MSc "Translation Science" Panagiota Stathopoulou and the Assistant Professor of the Ionian University of Thessaloniki Vilelmini Sosoni who worked on the drafting of terminology for inclusive language and the standardisation of acronyms for gender identity.

We thank Mr. Anastasios Anagnostou and Ms. Christina Nikitopoulou from the Greek Language Department of the General Directorate of Translation for their trust.
