These Open Lectures intend to help diffuse knowledge from the field of History and other related sciences, and are not only aimed at academic community audiences, but all interested members of the general public are invited as well.
The next programmed lectures are:
- On Tuesday, December 5th, 20.30: “Pangratis & Iraklis Pangratis” , a paper by Assoc. Prof. Ms Evgenia Vikela.
A definition of the name, the role and the iconography of underworld deities in an Athenian temple during later classic and Hellenistic times.
- On Thursday, December 7th, 16.00: “Dario Fo: a contemporary Goliardus, Franca Rame: the Medea of self-consciousness” , a paper by Professor Ms Stella Priovolou from the University of Athens.
The lectures will be held in Greek in the amphitheatre at the Department of History, Ioannou Theotoki 72, Corfu Town.
