Launch of cooperation between the Department of Foreign Languages, Translation and Interpreting (DFLTI) of the Ionian University and the Terminology Coordination Unit of the European Parliament's Directorate-General for Translation

We are pleased to announce the official cooperation between the Department of Foreign Languages, Translation and Interpreting (DFLTI) of the Ionian University and the Terminology Coordination Unit of the European Parliament's Directorate-General for Translation (TermCoord).

Undergraduate and postgraduate students will collaborate with the Terminology Coordination Unit and under the supervision of DFLTI academics will research and document terms and thus contribute to IATE, the terminology database of the European Union. Associate professor Michalis Politis and Assistant professors Sotiris Keramidas and Vilelmini Sosoni will coordinate the project at DFLTI.
