Winner of the 2022 Weizenbaum Award

The winner of the 2022 prestigious Weizenbaum Award for excellence in computer ethics has been awarded by the three - member Weizenbaum Award Committee to Professor Philip Brey of the University of Twente. The three members of the Committee were Maria Bottis, Director of the International Society for Ethics and Information Technology, Keith Miller, President of the  International society for Ethics and Information Technology and Herman Tavani, past President of the Society.
 
The award shall be offered to the winner at the Computer Ethics: Philosophical Enquiry 2023 Conference, in Chicago, coorganized by INSEIT, the University of Illinois and the research team IHRC of the Ionian University in May 2023.
