Dr Christos Tsirogiannis the Head of Working Group – Illicit Antiquities Trafficking of the UNESCO Chair on Threats to CulturalHeritage and Cultural Heritage related Activities at the Ionian University, Greece, Corfu, Greece was awarded the Cultural Protection Ambassador Award together with Peter Stone OBE; they were both nominated for their dedication to cultural heritage working closely with UNESCO.
