The brain drain is a severe challenge for Greece, with many young scientists and professionals seeking opportunities abroad. To stop this phenomenon and enhance the return of talented young people to our country, Ionian University is undertaking an initiative to present its undergraduate and postgraduate programs to New York's expatriates.
The undergraduate and postgraduate programmes of Ionian University cover a wide range of disciplines, from Humanities and Arts to Computer Sciences, Environmental Studies, and Tourism. With an emphasis on innovation, research, and international cooperation, Ionian University provides its students with the skills they need to excel in today's competitive world.
The event took place in Manhattan, New York, and featured presentations by distinguished professors and academics from the university. There was also an open discussion where interested parties could ask questions and receive detailed information about the courses offered.
With this initiative, the Ionian University seeks to strengthen the ties of the Greek diaspora with the homeland, highlight the prospects that Greece offers in higher education, and make the opportunities offered by the Ionian University well known, contributing to the common effort for a better future.
