"Ontology modeling in practice - Common pitfalls and how to avoid them"

The distinguished Greek researcher, Dr. Panos Alexopoulos, Head of Ontology, Textkernel BV, arrives in Corfu on April 18, 2018 to give an open to the public lecture entitled "Ontology modeling in practice - Common pitfalls and how to avoid them"  at the Department of Informatics, 7, Tsirigoti Square, Corfu.

The prominent researcher responded to the invitation set by the Assistant Professor of the Department of Informatics, Ionian University, Dr. Phivos Mylonas. The visit of Dr. Alexopoulos in Corfu is part of the events and dissemination actions of the Humanistic and Social Informatics Lab (https://hilab.di.ionio.gr/) of Ionian University.

Dr. Panos Alexopoulos is the Head of Ontology in Textkernel BV in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. His research focuses on information extraction and knowledge discovery, knowledge graph construction and management, uncertainty and vagueness in data and knowledge engineering, as well as data quality and reuse issues.
