At the international conference Taboo-Transgression-Transcendence in Art & Science (TTT2025), held on 9–13 September 2025 in Ljubljana, Slovenia, Department of Audio and Visual Arts marked the beginning of a new chapter in international cooperation.
Professor Dalila Honorato met with representatives of the Central Academy of Drama, University of Beijing, Associate Professor Mrs. Monroe and member of administrative staff Mrs. Yanshuang, in a first in-person encounter that paved the way for drafting a joint collaboration protocol.
AVARTS’s committee also includes Professor Apostolos Loufopoulos, Dr. Emmanouil Rovithis, and Dr. Marily Argyrokastriti, and is supported by the Rector of the Ionian University, Professor Andreas Floros, and the Head of the International Relations Office, Mrs. Dimitra Kokkali.
The collaboration protocol under preparation aims to foster initiatives of common interest with a focus on mutual artistic understanding, interdisciplinarity, and multiculturalism.
This initiative highlights AVARTS’s commitment to strengthening its international profile and to opening new pathways of cooperation that bring together the European and Asian academic and artistic communities.
