of the Ionian University organizes the annual scientific meeting of the Section of Archives and Archivists of Parliaments and Political Parties (SPP), an important and dynamic section of the International Council on Archives (ICA), in Corfu on 1-3 November 2007.
Theme for the conference: "Parliamentary, party, and politicians' archives and their neighbouring institutions". With 'neighbouring institutions' we refer to other bodies dealing with information management, such as 'libraries', 'documentation centres', etc.
Marietta Minotos, Vice-President of SPP and Lecturer at the Ionian University, is the organizer of this annual meeting.
