The sixth international conference Taboo–Transgression–Transcendence in Art & Science (TTT2025) has come to a close in Slovenia, after five days of intense exchange between artists, scholars, and members of diverse creative communities. Hosted at Kino Šiška, the event was organized in partnership with Zavod Projekt Atol, the Ionian University, and the Pixxelpoint 2025 festival in the context of GO!2025 European Capital of Culture Nova Gorica–Gorizia, with contributions from Kapelica Gallery, Cirkulacija 2, and the Museum of Architecture and Design, and with the support of the Greek Embassy in Ljubljana, the Slovenian Ministry of Culture, the City of Ljubljana, and the University of Nova Gorica.

The successive extensions of the exhibition "...about the Desired University - The Ionian Academy and Lord Guilford" reflect the great success of this initiative. Organized by the Ionian University and the Corfu Reading Society, the exhibition commemorates the 200th anniversary of the founding of the Ionian Academy (1824-2024) and the 40th anniversary of the founding of the Ionian University (1984-2024). It highlights the role of the Ionian Academy and its founder, Lord Guilford, in supporting higher education in Greece and Europe.

The Ionian University excavation at the prehistoric settlement of Koimisi in Therasia has brought to light an important find, which sheds light on the first steps in the creation of writing in the prehistoric Aegean.
