The winner of the 2022 prestigious Weizenbaum Award for excellence in computer ethics has been awarded by the three - member Weizenbaum Award Committee to Professor Philip Brey of the University of Twente. The three members of the Committee were Maria Bottis, Director of the International Society for Ethics and Information Technology, Keith Miller, President of the  International society for Ethics and Information Technology and Herman Tavani, past President of the Society.

The kick-off meeting of the DIN-ECO research project (Boosting Digital Innovation & Transformation Capacity of HEIs in an Entrepreneurial Ecosystem), with Scientific Coordinator Prof. Adamantia Pateli from the Department of Informatics of the Ionian University, was held on September 26 at the Ionian Academy, Corfu.
