Two-Day Working Meeting of the European Project PIONEER+ 16–17 October 2025, Corfu

The first in-person two-day working meeting of the partners of the project PIONEER+ (Pioneering Innovation and Entrepreneurship capacity building activities through Digital Transformation), funded by the HEI Initiative of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) under the 4th Cohort, was successfully held on 16–17 October 2025 in Corfu, at the premises of the Ionian University. The Ionian University serves as the lead partner of the project, coordinated by Professor Adamantia Pateli, Director of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center of the Ionian University.

The main phase of the Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) “Sustainable Destination Management and Marketing” was successfully completed in Corfu from 13 to 17 October 2025. The programme was organized by the Department of Tourism of the Ionian University within the framework of the Erasmus+ initiative, fostering a dynamic environment for learning, international collaboration, and exchange of experiences. The programme was coordinated by Professor Christina Beneki and Assistant Professor Naoum Mylonas.

The sixth international conference Taboo–Transgression–Transcendence in Art & Science (TTT2025) has come to a close in Slovenia, after five days of intense exchange between artists, scholars, and members of diverse creative communities. The successive extensions of the exhibition "...about the Desired University - The Ionian Academy and Lord Guilford" reflect the great success of this initiative. Organized by the Ionian University and the Corfu Reading Society, the exhibition commemorates the 200th anniversary of the founding of the Ionian Academy (1824-2024) and the 40th anniversary of the founding of the Ionian University (1984-2024).
