The successive extensions of the exhibition "...about the Desired University - The Ionian Academy and Lord Guilford" reflect the great success of this initiative. Organized by the Ionian University and the Corfu Reading Society, the exhibition commemorates the 200th anniversary of the founding of the Ionian Academy (1824-2024) and the 40th anniversary of the founding of the Ionian University (1984-2024). It highlights the role of the Ionian Academy and its founder, Lord Guilford, in supporting higher education in Greece and Europe.

The International Conference “By the Book10” on the Publishing Industry and the Book, titles “Divergence and Convergence in Publishing Today”, was successfully held on June 25 and 26, 2025, at the Ionian University.
