Neapolis University Pafos in Cyprus, the Centre for Security and Intelligence Studies at the University of Buckingham in the UK (BUCSIS) and UNESCO Chair on Threats to Cultural Heritage and Cultural Heritage -related Activities, will be co-organising an intensive workshop in Security and Intelligence studies from April 15 to April 17, 2022.

The International Council of Museums (ICOM), in order to emphasize the impact of museums, has declared the 18th of May “International Day of Museums”, since 1977. Info Day of the ERMIS project, which will take place on January 28, 2021 at 11:00a.m. as a fully virtual online event. The ERMIS project, fully entitled "Smart digital applications and tools for the effective promotion and enhancement of the Ionian Islands bio-diversity" is co-funded by the European Union and implemented under the Operational Program "Ionian Islands 2014-2020".

On January 24, 2022, Study in Greece, the official body of internationalization and extroversion of Greek higher education, held the virtual exhibition "Study in Greece Virtual Fair: Expanding Bridges between Greek and US universities". The Ionian University participated with a virtual kiosk in this online exhibition, since the institution intends to design, organize, and operate foreign language curricula for international students in the near future.

The Animation Festival ICONA 2021, which took place from the 2nd to the 5th of December 2021, exclusively online, by the Department of Audio and Visual Arts of the Ionian University, was successfully completed.

We present here the new international journal Rhetoric & Science, which belongs to the field of Classical Philology, Rhetoric and Science, which started in April 2019 as a follow-up activity of the International Conference ‘Mapping the Rhetoric of Science Writing in Antiquity and Beyond’ held at the History Department of the Ionian University in March 2019 and organized by the Centre for the Study of the Ancient World (CSAW).

The third Ionian Contemporary Animation Festival ICONA 2021, organized and promoted by the Department of Audio and Visual Arts of the Ionian University had exceeded our expectations with more than 1.500 submissions.
