Οι Daniela TROIANI & Antonella CALVELLI θα επισκεφθούν το Τμήμα Μουσικών Σπουδών του Ιονίου Πανεπιστημίου και θα πραγματοποιήσουν Συναυλία και Σεμινάρια για Φλάουτο και Πιάνο.

Η συναυλία θα λάβει χώρα την Παρασκευή, 31 Μαρτίου 2017, ώρα 18.30, στην Ιόνιο Ακαδημία, ενώ οι ώρες των σεμιναρίων θα αναρτηθούν ξεχωριστά στην ιστοσελίδα του Τ.Μ.Σ. music.ionio.gr

Daniela Troiani obtained her Diploma in flute from the St. Cecilia Conservatory and in chamber music from the Santa Cecilia Academy in Rome, under the guidance of Angelo Persichilli and Riccardo Brengola respectively. In 1979, she gained a Diploma of Merit when she attended Severino Gazzelloni’s master classes at the Accademia Chigiana in Siena, Italy. In 1986 she was awarded the Prémier Prix de Virtuosité, with Maxence Larrieu, at the Conservatoire de Musique in Geneva, Switzerland.
She has performed for the principal Italian musical associations and has played with several orchestras including the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia. Particularly interested in the chamber repertoire, she has been on tour in India, Brazil, Poland, Hungary, Great Britain, Canada and the USA. She was invited to represent Italy at the 3rd Festival Internacional de Flautistas at Rio de Janeiro (1997), and Tatuì (2000), Brazil.
She has recorded CDs for LMI Launch Music International, Bèrben, Zone di Musica, Nuova Era, Fonè and Paoline. Recently, the CD Ars Nova, including 20th century italian music for flute and piano. She held the chair of flautist at the Cosenza Music Conservatory (“Stanislao Giacomantonio”), Italy, since 1985.

Antonella Calvelli graduated with highest honours in musical studies at the Music Conservatory “Stanislao Giacomantonio” in Cosenza, in 1983, at the age of eighteen, under the guidance of Maria Marano. Thereafter she improved her musical training under the tutelage of Rodolfo Caporali, Anna Maria Pennella and for the chamber repertoire with Riccardo Brengola. She won a lot of national and international musical competitions like Alfonso Rendano (1984), Città di Treviso (1986), Isaac Albeniz (1988), Domenico Scarlatti (1989), Città di Marsala (1989), Alberto Mozzati (1990). She recorded for Italian RCA. She performs a brilliant concert activity, as a solist, as a solist with orchestra, but also with various chamber ensembles. From 2006 she is part of Marsili Trio that included violinist Pino Murano and cellist Valeria Carnicelli, that performed expecially ‘900 repertoire. Often she present as judge in important international musical competition. From 1983 she held the chair of piano at the Cosenza’s Conservatory. From 2010 to 2016 she was Director at the Cosenza Music Conservatory (“Stanislao Giacomantonio”).
